I have acne scars on my face. I tried Palmer’s Scar Serum but i find it incovenient because if i apply it during daytime, my whole face is very shiny and sticky! and if i apply it during nightime, the formula just sticks all over my pillowcase!
i know of a bleaching cream that u can put at night its called"concha nacar" it bleaches out the scars and doesnt leave bleach marks its like 5 dollars at wal mart. u leave it on for half an hour and u wash it off. its where all the mexican creams r it works. i hope ull try it it worked for me the only thing it smells kind of funny.

i have some scars from moles being removed, and i was wondering what is the best scar removal to use
get vitamin E & K capsules at the pharmacy. Burst the pill an drub the oily liquid on the scar.. it worked on stretch marks and a facial scar.

I use mederma for a scar on my forehead I got from a baseball bat in 5th grade… long time ago… and on my back, 2 scars from surgery, and on my chin, from a trip up some stairs…
Works pretty well. My sister steals it from me, too.

I dont have horrible scars because i never really had cystic acne. I just have some dark and red spots where acne was before, does anyone know how to treat these besides makeup, cause im a guy.
Exfoliate daily, and use a good sunscreen moisturizer. In time they will fade. Exfoliation takes the dead skin cells from your face, and helps to increase production of new smooth ones. Moisturizing daily with an SPF15 or better face lotion will keep them from getting darker from sun exposure. (cetaphil makes a great, lightweigh, fragrance free, non pore clogging spf 15 lotion. you can get that brand almost anywhere, but walgreens has a better selection)

Acne marks usually develop when you pop a pimple or squeeze it out. This action peels off the pimple and the skin forcefully and leaves a permanent mark at the affected area. The deeper the skin peels off, the darker is the mark. Sometimes, it may leave a scar, which is all the more difficult to get rid off. However, you may try out these remedies at home that will help you to get rid off acne marks and cure your face.
* Take the fresh juice of lemon and dip some cotton wool in it. Pat your face with the cotton and let it dry. Some people may find the lemon juice irritating. In that case, you can dilute it in some water or rose-water. Let it dry for 15-20 minutes and wash your face with water after that. Do this at least four times a week and you will find considerable change.
* Make a paste with some sandalwood powder and rose-water. Add 2-4 drops of lime juice to it. Apply this paste on your face and neck and let it dry completely. After that, rinse your face with cool water and wipe off the paste with cotton wool. Do this on a regular basis (twice a week) to get good results.
* Apply cucumber juice on your face with cotton wool. In summers, you can do this almost daily as it helps cool off the skin and tighten the pores. Cucumber juice is very helpful is making your skin glow and make it feel fresh.
* A popular homemade remedy for removing acne marks is to make a paste of apple and honey. Make the apple paste first and then add 4-6 drops of honey. Apply this mask on your face. Wash off after 15 minutes. This will tighten pores and make your complexion light.

I have some larger scars on my body from small surgeries and Im looking for something to get rid of a new scar and and old scar but I can’t afford to pay a whole lot.
Blaine’s Scar Care is pretty reasonably priced (around $20), and works pretty well to reduce scars, both new and old.
The only down side is you have to keep using it for months; ie. don’t expect overnight results.

Im on differin acne cream, is it safe to put mederma on my face that is being treated with differin? Also, will mederma even work for acne scars? If not, could someone point me in the direction of something that will?
I think using Clearpores and other surface treatment work temporarily. I used to have a lot of acne just like you (all over my body, not just my face) but I find that rubbing all those lotions and cleansers is too much trouble.
Anyway, I came across a study that shows that people from other cultures that eat a good diet almost NEVER have acne…even when they are going through puberty. But as soon as they changed their diets, acne started to flare up like crazy.

how much is a typical scar removal surgery and any recommendation? Anyone know any good surgeon or any good place in the city?
Well scar reoval surgery? i dont think it is a surgery, are you talking about microdermabrasion and glycolic peels? If you are then it is not a surgery since it ids done just above the skin.
Microdermabrasion is used to remove the uppermost dead skin layer which fades away the scars. Glycolic peels also does the same and also deep cleanses which also prevents the breakouts. Results will be seen instantly and you will need about 6-8 sessions. Each session will last 40-45 min and will cost ypu about 32 dollars.
