Is there a scar cream that actually works?

No. But i heard is not the actual cream that helps the appearance of the scar, its the act of rubbing the cream into the skin. So in theory any cream would do.

No ive tried most the best thing i found was vitamin E capsules; split it and rub the liquid on it worked for me trust!

Mederma works. I used it on the scar on my skin after having surgery to remove a growth. Some days it is more noticeable then others, but it did reduce it.
